Thanks guys. Its nice to know that I'm not going completely mad and actually
I've got the right way about this.

I've been developing ColdFusion applications for longer than I care to
remember and I've been using Transfer at simplistic level for the last year.
Now I'm in the early stages of a new site and trying to make sure that
"things" are done the right way from the beginning rather than hacking stuff
in and then regretting it later.

Reading Jared's reply I realise the bit that I was missing and actually
makes complete sense is that I should be cascading from the theme back up to
the book, as opposed to cascading from the book down. My only concern now
is that a book can have more than one theme and star rating associated with
it, but I think I may be over thinking this. If I wasn't using Transfer I
would have saved the Book record to the database and then be iterating
around to insert the bookthemes one by one.

Frighteningly enough, remotely connecting into work (its 23:15 here in the
uk) and look at the code I wrote this afternoon around this, its actually
pretty much what Mark wrote without using decorators. Adding the decorators
will make life easier with the code as well.

Thanks again for your replies. Its nice to know that you aren't completely
nuts and that you are going about things the right way.

Regards

Stephen
