That is exactly what I was thinking to avoid changing the wrong thing.

 

I will set ignore-insert on the updatedDate and updatedBy and ignore-update
on the createDate and createdBy columns.

 

I guess that the best way to set those dates anyway is with a decorator.

Setting it to ignore on insert or update will mean it won't get
inserted/updated in the database - don't you want to set these vales?
