Thanks for the head up.  We're following things on the debian-18n list

xml-rpc is something I'd love to see.  I think I dream of the day when a
a 'make publishtranslations' sends an update to a Pootle server and
makes life for a programmer a win and of course 'make gettranslations'
does something similar but before a packaged release.

I thin Alberto pointed to his spec for xml-rpc link.  Feel free to work
things out on the wiki:

translate.sf.net/wiki/wordforge

We also hang out on irc://irc.freenode.net/#pootle if you want to
arrange a time to flesh things out.
