xml-rpc is something I'd love to see. I think I dream of the day when a a 'make publishtranslations' sends an update to a Pootle server and makes life for a programmer a win and of course 'make gettranslations' does something similar but before a packaged release. I thin Alberto pointed to his spec for xml-rpc link.
