Not entirely so simple. :) They recommend that you first take a backup
of the repository using RSYNC. Probably not required, but I think it
might be a good idea to do so.

A simple checkout from CVS would naturally not do, since you want all
of the revision history and branches to be perfectly safe also
probably. If you can check out all of the branches and don't really
care about the history, I guess it's fine.

SF has been screwing around quite a lot lately, so I think it would
definitely be wise to have a plan B in case stuff goes wrong.

I spoke to Dwayne about this some time ago. I was supposed to help
with the switch but since then I got so busy with other stuff, I
haven't managed to take another look at it.

Last I heard, the translate SF project was splitting into two.
Translate.sf.net would be still for the technical stuff, and a South
African Translate project for the translations.
