By default the files are listed under "Not in a

what you want for OpenOffice.org).

Note for the record: I haven't been able to do that for a whole directory,
despite it would be very time-saving.

I found I _could_ do this. Whether this is because the OOo project is a list of directories to start with, I don't know.

If I first create another goal, hit "Not in a Goal", and hit "Show Editing Functions", then I see the drop-down list of goals next to each directory.

If I clicked on the directories so they listed each file, I could probably assign each file to a goal, but at this stage at least, it was useful to assign whole directories.

I've noticed that when it comes to assigning translators, I can also assign whole directories to them. It doesn't look that way, but the goalname at the top changes the number of strings and files it shows, according to how deep in the directory structure I go. So I'm assuming that when it shows the numberof files and strings in Directory A, if I assign that goal to Translator X, I will actually have assigned Directory A to Translator X.

It's not really intuitive, but if it works, that's what matters for now. I'll write a Help page for it once (I hope) I have it worked out.

BTW, I notice the list of available translators shows _everyone_ registered, or so I assume, because the list is very long. That makes it very awkward to choose individual translators. Is it possible to limit that list to people registered with your language or individual project?
