The patch for clickable characters (see a previous thread) have been
commited and is available on pootle.wordforge.org. We would appreciate
it if people could help us to gather information about which characters
to include for which languages. I hope to include this information in
the default configuration for future versions of Pootle.

For many languages this does not really help much, but we realise that
many languages using the Latin alphabet with diacritics, this could help
a lot. Although languages like French fall in this category, I guess
that most French users probably have no input problems in general. If
you think that this feature could help some members of your community on
some pootle servers, please reply here with your requests for which
characters to include. Alternatively people can enter the information on
the wiki page at http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/pootle/characters

For people using non-Latin scripts, consider if it will be useful to
perhaps include things from the Latin keyboard that can't be easily
typed by translators in your language.

We will probably need to limit the number of characters, but hopefully
we can find a reasonable compromise that will help many people.
