Am I doing something wrong here? How do I get pofilter output on
OpenOffice.org files?

Thankyou for your help with this. :)

Hi Clytie.

For reference, the documentation is here:
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/toolkit/pofilter

Yes, I did read all this, and I used the tests I needed done.

Pofilter currently operates on PO files (with support for XLIFF files
already in SVN trunk). You therefore need to convert your SDF file to a
directory of PO files first and then run pofilter on the resulting PO
files.

Ah. I don't think it explained that. It did say it worked on OpenOffice.org, so I assumed that meant the native OpenOffice.org files.

The output will be a directory of PO files in the same structure, but
only with the files containing problems (and only those units with the
problems). You can correct these problems (or remove the units/ files if
they never were wrong) and then merge them back with pomerge.

OK. I'll try that, although I would have preferred to check the GSI file, because you have everything in one place that way.

There is a bug here, namely that pofilter didn't complain about being
run on an SDF file. I can only duplicate it on the 0.10 branch, not on
SVN trunk, so I'll try to still look at it.

Thankyou. :)
