Hi everyone :)

I'm pleased to see the progress with the offline XLIFF editor,
Pootling. I won't be able to use it on OSX, but I would like to be
able to translate it so others can use it.

When will we see the Pootling strings on Pootle? :)

In the Pootling TODO file and the release notes of pootling 0.2rc1 the
localisation is mentioned as something still left to do (TODO:
"*Localisation") (from 0.2rc1: "Then we will help to build pootling that
can handle multi-languages.")

A translation file has been released, but I haven't heard that this
status is changed, but I guess the Pootling guys can correct me if
things have changed since I read the documentation.

Thanks, Friedel, for updating me on this.

I'd also suggest, before the Pootling team release their strings for translation, that they have them spelling/grammar checked. Small errors like that really deface your software.

I'd be happy to review the Pootling strings. [1]

I submit a lot of msgid bugs for the files I translate, so it would be nice, for a change, to have a chance to fix mistakes _before_ release.

The Debian-English team has started reviewing all the Debian translation templates, which has caused a major improvement in string quality and clarity. Think of me as the Pootling-English team. ;)
