Hi everyone :)

It looks like I have reappeared at just the right time. Hirano raises
an interesting point.

As you know, I planned to keep the Vietnamese OpenOffice.org
translation based on the Wordforge Pootle for some time, to help with
developing features specific to OpenOffice.org.

(I would really like to get started with that, BTW. ;) )

I think we should continue to accept OpenOffice.org files here, for
that reason, and because the Sun installation does appear to have
limitations that might be a problem for some language teams.

For example, apparently they take the whole server down for one solid
WEEK while they package the files for submission. I have to do things
when I'm able, which often results in last-minute submissions. I just
had to do that for version 2.4. Currently, I don't think the Sun
Pootle is flexible enough for me. I hope that will change.

So, let's keep OpenOffice.org alive here for a while. I think we can
improve the process, which will then benefit the language teams using
the Sun installation.

Currently, to whom do we send files for upload? Our translation is at
m241: I can give you links to the GSI file or the PO tree. Please also
delete our previous OpenOffice.org projects (2.0.3, 2.1, 2.3 all plus
Help).

Good luck with your current efforts, and of course, Merry Christmas to
all. :)
