Hello translators.
I am here to promote translating the free wiki software called MediaWiki to the
projects your organisation translates.
The MediaWiki software is really much used software.
You probably know Wikipedia, the best known project of the Wikimedia
Foundation. Wikipedia runs on the MediaWiki software.
Also, I saw this translate.org.za organisation has a (currently offline) wiki on
http://wiki.translate.org.za/wiki/ which uses the MediaWiki
software.
And there are a lot of other websites which uses MediaWiki.
The easiest way to translate MediaWiki is through a wiki called Betawiki.
If translators ever have edited Wikipedia or any other MediaWiki wiki, they
will have no problem with translating.
The current localisation statistics can be found at
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Localisation_statistics.
(for your information, I am
http://translatewiki.net/wiki/User:SPQRobin, I translate and I search
for Wikipedia translators to come to Betawiki)
Thank you very much.
