The work on the converter is (partially) being tracked in this bug: http://bugs.locamotion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632 It isn't quite up to date with all the newest changes to Pootle, so my guess is it won't work as-is. I hope Asheesh can update it soon, then we can test migration on the beta server as well.
