I am glad you got it working. Please take some time to read the Apache
documentation about mod_proxy. If you get things wrong here, you could
enable spammers to use your server for things you don't want to.

fairly sure it should be off. This is a configuration I recently used on
a Pootle deployment, just for reference:

ProxyRequests Off
ProxyVia On
<Proxy localhost:8080>
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from localhost
</Proxy>
</IfModule>
I'm not sure that I have everything correct - I am no Apache expert.
Please make sure in the documentation. You don't want to be blacklisted
because you are running an open proxy :-)
