This fixes my problem. This patch is already released in Translate
Toolkit 1.5.1, isn't it. Currently I'm using version 1.5.0. I think I
should make an update...
Thanks for your help.

I think it's the 2.3.1, too. I didn't install it explicit. It came with
PyLucene from the ubuntu repository. All lucene*.jar I could find are these:
# find / -name lucene*.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-queries-2.3.1.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-highlighter-2.3.1.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-snowball-2.3.1.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-analyzers-2.3.1.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-core-2.3.1.jar
./usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/lucene/lucene-regex-2.3.1.jar
