Hi. I have a Debian Lenny server that will be replaced in the next couple of
weeks.
In the meantime, I need the Alternative source language feature on the highest
version of Pootle that I've managed to upgrade to on the machine without
breakages - 1.2.1.
This old version of Pootle won't be needed for long but it will be extremely
useful in avoiding a delay to the project.

The problem is that when I set enablealtsrc = 'True' in pootle.prefs, it has no
effect.
Also, in the user account administration, there's no option to set alternative
language, even if the user's languages are set to include them all, and the
project is in the user's projects.
If I set altsrclanguage manually for the user in users.prefs, the translation
screen does not show the alternative language's strings.
The alternative language that I specify exists for the project and all strings
have been translated into it.

Help! It seems, searching the net, that users have used the feature, but maybe
it was from trunk, and a working version of the feature never made it until
2.0? What am I doing wrong?

Paul
