For Welsh, the link from the 'donate' button in the sidebar now points to the
banner still points to the Welsh version. But the link from the central banner
still goes to the English landing page here
http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/WMFJA1/GB?utm_medium=sitenotice&utm_campaign=UKtesting1120&utm_source=2010_JA1_Banner2_button_GB&country_code=GB

When this was last discussed (see Dec 5 postings), it was left with Joseph
Seddon to fix the link from the central banner and the 'Read now' image. But
unfortunately, he doesn't have the time to fix this now, so we will just have
to wait until he does have the time (in a week or so, I believe) or someone
else comes forward who can do it.

Have just checked yi - same situation.

Regards,
Eleri

Can anybody confirm that any non-state language has managed to get a link from
a banner to an own-language page operated by a Wikimedia chapter to work in
practice? It would be nice to know that it does work in practice rather than
just in theory.

Hasn't this worked for both you and Redaktor with WMUK/cy and WMUK/yi already?
