Hello, The publishing history for this package (can be found in the upper right corner on the overview page) mentions it was removed from Utopic: "langpack with less than 5% coverage" https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-pack-nan/+publishinghistory
I don't know the exact process around language packs, but presumably more translations would be needed for the package to be reintroduced. ** Tags added: wily xenial yakkety -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Translators Packages, which is subscribed to language-pack-nan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1559827 Title: Language package for nan not available after vivid Status in language-pack-nan package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi, I want to install "Min-nan (Chinese)" from "Language Support" on wily, but can not find it from the language list. Last time I can install it is on a trusty (LTS) machine. After some searching, I find it removed after vivid, but it is not mentioned for a reason in release notes. I know there is only few translations for this language, but at least I wish to use the locale settings. Currently I add an entry to /var/lib/locales/supported/local and run locale-gen to get it, but is it possible to bring the language package (and future translations) back? Thanks.
