Does anyone have the latest version of the NEC 2002 Edition? Would you have a look at Section 800.4, Page 70-589 I am being told that Section 800.4 means that any device (such as a telephone) that is connected to the building telephone wiring must have a NRTL mark on it. I would hope that the telecommunications wiring they are referring to is the wiring to the PSTN, not the internal building wire for sets connected to a PBX.
