Product Certification and Homologation Engineer


The Big Picture:
Fax International is a fast paced, worldwide, document exchange 
communications company servicing both fax and binary file formatted 
documents.  With worldwide headquarters in Burlington, we have operating 
sales and service units worldwide and will be expanding business in new 
countries over the next several months. The environment is high growth, 
hands on, can do and provides the rewards of working with leading edge 
communications protocols. In each new country where we operate, product 
compliance is initiated and completed as a leading start-up activity.


The Opportunity:
We are looking for an accomplished individual that can accept technical 
challenges, to plan  and schedule all the necessary activities to achieve 
product homologation in Fax Internationals expanding sphere of international 
operations. This role will lead and influence the resources necessary to 
achieve homologation of our products, initiate product test and compliance 
plans, collect and present all of the necessary information and data to 
influence product design. The successful candidate will enjoy working in 
multi-cultural environments, working independently, and using past 
accomplishments to leverage the tasks at hand. This individual will enjoy 
being the hub of information for the homologation  status of our products in 
each of our countries of operation.

The Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an engineering degree EE, QE. or ME, 3 
years product development experience, and have demonstrated attention to 
detail and ability to manage tight schedules. The right candidate will be a 
master at organizing documents and technical material for easy and reliable 
access. You must be able to plan homologation and product certification 
events, influence priorities, interpret product design characteristics and 
offer persuasive support for test strategies. You must be comfortable in 
multi-cultural environments and have outstanding written and verbal skills.
