The switch types for ISDN in Europe and America are different,
but we are shipping the same ISDN hardware to both the US
and Europe with firmware and drivers written to cover the different
switch types. The implementation that we have used, gives us
one product for both markets so it is possible.

No, not even close. For starters Europe uses E1 (2.048 Mb/s) and the US
uses T1 (1.544 Mb/s) and the protocols are completely different.
