Regan,

I suggest you lease/rent an Anritsu Spectrum Analyzer. It is good fit for
that application.

Rich & anyone else?
Would anyone out there know of a good "big bang for the buck" spectrum analyzer
meant to interface with an Emscan unit, version 2.2 (Near field planar PCP
emissions scanning device meant for isolating frequencies & EMI problem areas).
Emscan Corporation has several HP models (HP8560 & HP8590 series) that
support the EMSCAN 2.2.
We would use the Emscan to test a PCP with the spectrum analyzer on the bench &
also use the spectrum analyzer to evaluate test components/systems inside an
anechoic chamber for emission pre-scans to FCC & CISPR for equipment and
systems with clock rates less than 50MHz.
We would also like it to be compatible with 'EMCO' near field probes.
