Motorola's Information Systems Group, part of Motorola's Messaging, Information and Media Sector, is looking for a self-motivated, highly technical senior level safety engineer and EMC engineer capable of providing direction for the design, assessment and safety/EMC certification for the entire line of ISG communications products.
Candidates must be pro-active team players technically competent to direct the product design, assessment and certification process to achieve first pass certifications of products ranging from PCMCIA analog modems to RF cable modems to network routers supporting multiple communications protocols and services targeted for world wide markets. Candidiates should have a minimum BSEE with at least10 years of industry related experience and broad knowledge of various digital and analog products. Exposure to International standards, interpretation, test methods and equipment, certification polices and procedures is required. Knowledge of commercially available simulation and test tools with hands-on experience is preferred. Participation in standards committees with demonstrated contributions to standards work is also preferred.
