I would check Omron first, I seem to recall they made some beefy
relays. I don't recall if Aromat made any fitting that description,
but they made good telecom. relays as I recall - so I'd check
there also. Sorry, but I don't have any of those catalogs anymore.
I hope this helps.

 Best regards,

Subject: Relay Needed

Hello to all,

I have been asked to post a request to identify a telecommunications relay
which has a published Dielectric Strength (Hi Pot) of 1500 vac, ( or 2121
vdc) between open contacts which is sometimes called "Contact-to-Contact
Dielectric Rating". Many relays have this dielectric strength between
Contact and Coil, however, between Contact to Contact is more difficult to
find.

This relay has been reportedly difficult to find, and if found could remove
costly additions for isolation of a serial port, to meet EN 41003/EN60950.

Does any one know of such a component? If so, any and all Part Numbers
would be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Ron Pickard
