Hi Ian, CISPR G Secretariat document is in the process to become FDIS document and later if approved Amendment No. 3 to CISPR 22:1993. Minor editorial work and usual delay in Central Office in Geneva will be followed by 2 months voting period by National Committees and 2 months period for publication.
My estimate is that Amendment No. 3 to CISPR 22, if approved, will not be released before June 1997. Document is about conducted emissions in telecommunication lines. You might get a copy of the document from delegate in CISPR SC G and once it is released as FDIS from National CISPR Committee. Emissions on Telecommunication cables are on the hit list this time. 20uA but look it up and see the limits for QP and mean 150KHz to 30MHz. Will all the Token Rings and Ethernet still meet this. It seems that all our National CISPR reps are voting yes. This implies that we are all happy campers. It may take a year or so to hit the OJ after that (tell me if I'm wrong) we have 4 years grace. Regards Ian.
