Hi Kaz:
My understanding, through our Chilean distributor, is that there are
no approval requirements for ITE equipment in Chile. I just
reconfirmed this information in the last couple of weeks. I was also
told that the products should simply conform to the 'main' standards.
I take this to mean the CCITT/ITU requirements.
I would be interested if anyone has different information.

REGARDING Chile-Reg. Requirements
Hi Group,
I'm looking for info for getting ITE Product to Chile. Generally, does =
Chile have it's own interconnect std. or would they accept FCC Part 68? =
What about safety and EMC? Will UL 1950 (3rd ed.) or IEC 950 as well as =
FCC part 15 do the trick?
If specific Chilean standards apply, can anyone provide the spec. numbers =
or at least point me to a source of information?
