I'm looking for some help determining regulatory requirements for Central Office Equipment in Europe. I hope this is the right forum for this request.
In the United States, I understand that meeting the requirements of GR-63-CORE (NEBS) and GR-1089-CORE (EMC, ESD, Safety) are what's required by the Bell Operating Companies. Is there an equivalent in Europe? Products that connect to the Telecommunications infrastructure generally need approval to EN 60 950 for the Low Voltage Directive and country specific requirements for the Telecom Directive, but what about the Telecommunications infrastructure such as switches and other telecom equipment?
