The Word Concept virus is a fairly benign but certainly is a nuisance I
doubt Mirko knew his system was infected. I've received the Concept
virus three times in the last two months from vendors and business
partners that didn't know their systems were infected.

The virus can be removed by many of the available Virus scan programs.
A few months ago Microsoft provided "Scanprot.dot", a Word template
providing macros which scan the hard disk for the Concept virus,
disinfect infected files, and add monitor macros to the Global
template. The monitor macros give an alert when a file containing
macros is opened. It seems to alert for ANY macros not just Concept
virus macros but does give an option to disable or not to disable the
file's macros.

To scan and remove the Concept virus from your hard disk, simply open
the enclosed Scanprot.dot file from Word and follow prompt instructions.
