Here is Martin' s full message: We are currently obtaining reports to prove compliance against the EMC & LV directive for some IT equipment. We have been told that "TUV-Berlin" have special requirements, or atleast require the reports from a specially accredited test house, in order to obtain certification of the product for sale in Germany. The items fit squarely in the category of IT and therefore EN60950 for safety.
Does anyone know of special requirements over and above the usual standards of EN safety, emissions & immunity inc harmonics etc for Germany. > From: [email protected] > Date: 19 Jul 96 02:56:39 > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: TUV special requirements above CE > Reply-to: [email protected] > We are currently obtaining reports to prove compliance against the EMC > & LV directive for some IT equipment.
