The president of NPSS is Art Michael. Other 1996 officers include Bruce Langmuir, Robert Chaplis, Leo Simon, Noel Plouffe, Bill Wilson and myself. At each meeting there are usually between 25 to 50 product safety professionals in a wide cross-section of industries. Some of the NPSS members also have EMC and telecom compliance responsibilities. Some members are independent contractors providing engineering/certification services to various companies and/or publishing product safety newsletters.
