Folks, The Canadian PALCAN laboratory accreditation process utilizes the ISO Guide 25 requirements. There is (and has been since 1988) a formal MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the Canadian SCC (Standards Council of Canada), and the US NIST, recognizing each other's accreditation schemes. The list of "reputable laboratories" that Mr. Coombs referred to therefore is *not* limited to those listed at the NIST site, but rather includes those listed by the Standards Council, (613) 238-3222.
