We have a "new product" that is nearly identical to an existing registed
product as far as the telephone interconnect portion is concerned.
Basically, another model number/name. (Components used, layout, etc. are
same except non-network connectors) It was previously tested and registered
through an NRTL lab.

Question: Is is necessary to go back thru this or anther NRTL lab to get
family registration, or can this be done directly with the FCC. (By filing
application, paying fee, etc.) We can perform virtually all Part 68 tests
here with the exception of perhaps the "Shake and bake" tests. (Actually we
can do the "bake test".

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
