is available on the Mid-West Atlantic coast, 5 mins from Shannon

The job:
A position has become vacant for a Reliability Engineer, preferably
with 2-3 years experience working in an R&D function and a medium to
high volume Production facility. The company, a US multinational,
develops and produces network transmission equipment for the Telecoms
industry. The candidate should have experience in some of the
following:
FMECA, HRD5, Strife Testing, Thermal Engineering, Environmental
Engineering.
The position involves specifying Reliability/Envionmental
requirements, providing design-for-compliance support to the design
team, writing test plans/specs, conducting in-house pre-compliance
tests and managing external compliance testing at the end of the
development life-cycle. Process improvements, such as reducing burn-in
time during production, would be another objective for the successful
candidate.
