Job opportunity in beautiful Maryland.

I am a Principal Regulatory Compliance Engineer and will reach the magical age
of 65 in 125 days, thus I will be retiring from Hughes Network Systems at the
end of June. I am looking for my replacement.

Here is an opportunity to join a growing company (surpassed $1 billion last
year), working on cutting edge technology. Did you know that we are the ones
who developed satellite communications? That we developed TDMA? That the first
coast to coast mailgram by satellite used our equipment? That we install
wireless telephones for entire countries such as the Czech Republic and
Jaicarda? And that we invented the DSS system that you see advertised on TV?

We deal with UL1950 constantly, UL 1459 periodically, sometimes UL1419, and
make heavy usage of the NEC (remember, we develop stuff that has never been
thought of before). Some of our world wide markets includes Russia, China,
Jaicarda, Czeck Republic, the USA, Canada, Mexico, and we need to meet their
agency requirements whether they be safety, EMC, CE mark, FCC Parts 15, 22, 24,
25, or 68, whatever the contract calls for. Fortunately, with 2000 employees,
there are plenty of resources available to help.

Challenging? You bet. Interesting? Always. Imagine doing immunity testing on a
satellite transmitter and having your own dish and satellite to talk to so that
you can evaluate the results of ESD, and EFT.

And of course there are the famous Maryland crab cakes.

Whomever is interested can send me private e-mail.
