TREGers, I have been asked to inquire if anyone has the latest Regulatory "Type Approval Check List" for Malaysia and for Singapore.
The application is a combination of voice/data on a Loop Start PSTN Line. SINGAPORE We have "Specification Checklist for Terminal Equipment for connection to Public Switched Telephone Network and Leased Circuits, PSTN 1, Issue 3, Rev 2, Feb 1991" on file. TAS (Telecom Authority of Singapore) confirmed in writing to our office, June of last year, that this specification was still current. Does anyone know if it is still in valid? MALAYSIA We have a "Checklist for Subscriber Owned Terminal Equipment", with no date or revision or document number. It looks quite old. It covers Telephones, dialers, answering machines, key telephones, and multiline systems. We have others, which are newer, that cover data modems and facsimile machines. Does anyone know of a newer specification for Malaysia? We would sincerely appreciate any information concerning the above Regulatory Requirements. Best Regards, Ron Pickard [email protected]
