Subject: Seminars on Korean legislation, technical regulations ,
specifications and conformity assessment procedures for
telecommunications, radio and information technology equipment.
This is to inform you of two one-day seminars to be given by officials
from the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of the Republic of
Korea. As part of the implementation of the Canada/Korea Mutual
Recognition Arrangement, the officials from Korea will give two one-day
seminars on Korean legislation, technical regulations, specifications and
conformity assessment procedures for telecommunications, radio and
information technology equipment.
One of the seminars will be held in Ottawa on May 13, 1997 and an
identical one will be held in Vancouver on May 15, 1997. The detailed
venue and agenda will be available within two weeks.
