I understand that there may be some analog carrier systems still in use in some parts of China, but I believe most of their network is digital. Some of our people who have traveled there have successfully connected back to our plant in the U.S., but I'm not sure what their max data rate was. You might try asking this consultant (he's installed telecom systems there): Mr. Sam Chi-Kin, Hermes Electronics Technology PO Box 831, Macau Tel: [+853] 963-609 FAX: [+853] 511-456 e-mail: [email protected] Hope this is helpful. -- Scott R. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Roleson, PE | Internet: [email protected] EMC & Telecom Engineer | http://www.WP.com/SRoleson San Diego Division MS 8-60 | Telephone: +1-619-655-4809 Hewlett-Packard Company | FAX: +1-619-655-5931 16399 W.
