*** Testing of Telephony Voice Channels *** *** for proper operation with MODEMS ***
Dear Tereggers, I am looking for specifications or definitions to assist me in evaluating telephone channels operating with MODEMs at rates of 28.8Kb/s and 33.6Kb/s. The Telephony equipment is defined and tested according to CCITT G715 requirements, however, from my experience - conformance to G715 does not necessarily assure proper operation with all types of MODEMs. I would highly appreciate receiving any sort of definition, specification or comments one might have on the subject.
