More serious though. Ynyr gave Pam a definitive answer. Knowing Ynyr and the likely scenarios, my guess is that it is probably the right answer. However, Pam does not know either Ynyr or Vic and didn't pay for that advice. If she operates on that advise and the thing blows up in her face someplace down the line, I can just see her standing in front of her CEO explaining, well, there were these two old farts on this email reflector who seemed to know what they were talking about ................. Will look good on a resume looking for a new job.
