I'm talking about in internal modem.
I guess I was not awake yesterday when I sent the message!
I was baffled when I was told labeling the (phone) cable was
acceptable and was asking for confirmation. I have a hard
time believing that the approval label could be placed anywhere
but on the product.

Hmmm, that sounds odd. Only because what cable does an analog modem
manufacturer ship with an internal card? We only ship a phone cable and
I doubt anyone would let us put a the approval label there.
An external modem has plenty of room and likely would not be installed
"in" a server.
But, hey, you never know. Maybe I am completely overlooking something
obvious. Let us know if you hear more about it.
