The AccuVision 1200 is the newest addition to the AccuVision product line. The
AV1200 camera
focus is fixed for a 1-2 inch depth of field over a 13 inch field of view. It
can be configured to read
and decode PostNet, and provide high quality, high resolution image data for
subsequent processing
operations. Both image processing and PostNet decoding can be accomplished at
speeds of up to
450 feet per minute. Applications include flat mail sortation, mail piece
collation, and mail
distribution operations.
The AV1200 combines a high resolution 200 DPI lens and leading edge image
processing technology
to provide extremely high quality image data for OCR applications. The design
incorporates a
standard digital camera interface for use with third party line scan interface
boards to allow for easy
integration into OCR systems.
The AV1200 is easy to install. The compact enclosure houses the camera, optics,
and illumination
assembly. Ports for connection to a tachometer and photo sensor are easy to
access. Reduced
maintenance requirements and modular design ensures minimal down time and
facilitates service. The
AV1200 provides a low cost, effective solution for your PostNet or OCR
applications in flat mail
handling.
