Here is my understanding based on several years of marketing desktop
printers in Poland. Comments inserted below:

>Does anyone have any informations on the enforcement of the "B"
>mark, new safety requirements of Poland ?
>
>1) When does this take effect ?
[PCBC agency approval and "B" mark is required now for ITE products.]

>2) Is Poland one of the EU countries ?
[Poland is not an EU member, but expects to join within two years,
at which time the CE marking will be sufficient.]

>3) Does Poland recognise other Safety logo, such as TUV, Demko etc ?
[In theory, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic have (or had?)
a tri-lateral agreement to accept each other's data, but I have yet
to see this work. I know of no other reciprocal schemes, other than
     the CB Scheme.]

>4) Is the "B" mark a custom requirement?
[I am not sure if it is import or market requirement.]

>5) Is it the same as NOM(for Mexico) which it is the responsibility of
> the distributor to get the products for certification ?
[I believe either is acceptable. But in either case it is the
manufacturer who must provide all the documentation and fill out the
     necessary forms.]
