Friends, under Canadian regulations, service providers must make public any new interfaces to their services or major changes to existing interfaces.
Hence, there are technical specifications for the different ways in which different cariers provide ISDN, Frame Relay, or any other service, so that terminal manufacturers can build equipment to those interface specs. The Common Canadian carriers have banded together in an organization known as the Stentor resource Centre, and that organization announces such interfaces and makes available (usually at a price) the interface specs. They also have a WEB site, where you can find the list of interface specs available. You may want to add that URL to your list: http://www.stentor.ca/disclosure You can phone a real live answering machine at 1-800-265-6608 or pay the price and call 1-613-781-6816 Alternatively: E-Mail: [email protected] Have fun.
