I am looking for the following information:
Do Test Equipment products (destinated to telecom Companies) need the
pan-European approval (or national approval if the case) if provided
with interfaces to connect the product to the Public Telecom Network?
Test equipment connect temporarily and sometimes directly to public
phone lines at various points. Some of the test are passive i.e.
monitor data..Some others are more active..ie Call up send data and/or
test tones.
Any info would be appreciated.
