Hi again:

Does anyone have a recommendation of a test standard(s) that when
imposed on an UUT would prove a product complies with IEC 204-1. Or
is this a commonly used guide for power quality `endurance', for lack
of a better word. Perhaps some know of a better reference.

The following is specified in IEC 204-1 page 43, AC
supply :
A product is to be able to with stand the following environment:

Harmonics - Harmonic distortion not to exceed 10% of total r.m.s.
voltage between live conductors for the sum of the 2nd through
5th harmonic. An additional 2% maximum of the total r.m.s.
voltage between live conductors for the sum of the 6th through
      30th harmonic is permissible.

Voltage Impulses - Not to exceed 1.5 ms in duration with a rise/fall
time between 500 ns and 500 us and peak value not more than 200%
of the rated r.m.s. supply voltage.

Voltage interruption - Supply interrupted or at zero voltage for not
more than 3 ms at any random time in the supply cycle. There
shall be more than 1 sec. between successive interruptions.

Voltage dips - Voltage dips shall not exceed 20% of the peak voltage
of the supply for more than one cycle. There shall be more than
      1 sec between successive dips.
