The PCS standard which is closest to DECT in the US is WCPE, or
"Wireless Customer Premises Equipment Interoperability Standard". It
was proposal # 3400 and TIA/EIA-662.
The protocol and lower layer architecture is based on DECT. The TDMA
structure is also very similar. The digital modulation instead of GFSK
for DECT, is pi/4 DQPSK.
