Bill,

I don't think there is a TREG FAQ as such. What Reuben Medding was
referring to is the FAQ for the sci.engr.electrical.compliance
("s.e.e.c") newsgroup. The newsgroup mainly covers EMC and safety
matters, including material of interest to TREG subscribers.

I maintain the s.e.e.c FAQ, which is posted approx 15th of each month to
the newsgroup and the latest issue of which is kindly archived by Martin
Rowe <[email protected]> (technical editor of Test & Meaasurement
World Magazine) on his personal website at:

            http://world.std.com/~techbook/compliance_faq.html

As mentioned by Reuben, section 1.10 of the FAQ will include his helpful
update.

When the new issue of the FAQ has been posted to s.e.e.c, I send a short
"pointer" message to various complementary Usenet newsgroups, and also to
interested mailing lists, including TREG and EMC-PSTC.

If you don't have accesss to a newsserver, the archive of s.e.e.c,
including the FAQ, will be accessible via DejaNews (www.dejanews.com).

By the way, you and other TREGgers may be interested in the following
comment from Martin:

"I have posted my column "A New Communications Standard" to my web site
