We have two opportunities for International Approvals Engineers at
Natural MicroSystems.
Positions:
* International Approvals Engineer
* Senior International Approvals Engineer
Location:
* Framingham, MA (Rt. 9 across from the Sheraton Tara).
Responsibilities:
* Get global approvals on NMS analog and digital telephony products.
* Drive project plans and schedules to completion.
Duties:
* Create project plans and schedules. Provide current status updates.
* Support testing of products (both locally and off-shore)
at various test labs. Some travel is required.
- Testing includes safety, emissions, and Telecom.
* Submit application forms and test documents.
* Consult with the engineering group to resolve issues with test labs and
Regulatory
Bodies.
* Write ECO's to support the required approvals.
* Have an overall knowledge of approvals requirements
- International Telecom approvals knowledge (protocol and physical) is a
plus.
* Effective overall written and verbal skills.
Experience:
* Minimum of three years of actual approvals/compliance work (6 years for
the senior
position)
* Familiar with some or all of the following requirements:
- FCC 15 and 68, UL 1950, LVD; EMC and TTE Directives; CTR 4,12; NET
2,4;
ISDN, MFC-R2, SS7; Blue Book, Green Book.
* Familiar with some or all of the following Regulatory authorities:
- Austel/ACA, JATE, TAS, BABT, FCC, UL.
