Thanks everyone for your comments, You've answered what I wanted to know now and that is would this project be worth exploring. Now I have to settle into reading the requirements, etc.
1 - 2 K dollars would be ok, 20 - 30 K would make the project unfeasible, and I would drop it right here. I'm used to dealing with specs, (former Gov. contractor engineer), just not the telecomm stuff. thanks again, Scott
