Please contact me at 408-326-5725: Responsibilities: You will serve as a Senior Homologation engineer in 3Com's Regulatory Affairs and Approvals group (RA&A). You will provide expert Type Approval design consulting for multiple 3Com divisions with an emphasis on International Modem Interface design. You will help design engineers prevent and resolve Type Approval failures in all regions for both analog and digital telecom interfaces. You will support multiple Type Approval projects worldwide. Qualifications: At least 8 years serving in a Regulatory Compliance role in the high-tech industry. At least 4 years direct experience providing Type Approval consulting/expertise for worldwide compliance related to analog and digital telecom products. Prior experience creating and/or operating a Quality System per the European Telecom Directive and designing/operating pretest solutions is a plus. Skills/Experience: Requires extensive knowledge of Type Approval standards throughout Europe and Asia as well as familiarity with front-end design of analog and digital telecom interfaces as it relates to compliance with type approval standards.
