Roger, In Mexico there are 2 types of license approvals :Permanent and temporary. Temporary license agreements are granted much quicker than the permanent ones, they are valid for 1 year. They may be renewed annually for 2 additional years. Permanent ones are valid for 3 years.Safety Approval to NOM 19 is required prior to importation and is valid for one year and must be re-processed annually. In Brasil limit is 5 years but I'm told that they are considering to reduce it to 2.
