I have a remark concerning item 2 which states the standards EN 55022 en EN
50082-1. Please note that, although these standards are very popular to
use, they do not apply to wireless radio devices in most cases (EN 55022 is
mostly being used as a basic standard in applicable ETSI standards).
Actually, radio devices are excluded from the scope of the generic standards.

Normally one would use an appropriate (harmonized) ETSI EMC standard for
proving compliance with the EMC directive when testing wireless radio
devices. The link :

http://europa.eu.int/comm/dg03/directs/dg3b/newapproa/eurstd/harmstds/reflis
t.html

will provide information about the current list of harmonized standards
relating to various directives, including the EMC directive.

Also I would like to point out that the RTTE directive (item 3) has not yet
been published in the OJ so it is not possible to use it at this moment.
The directive 98/13/EC seems to be the correct one in this case.

Pieter Robben - NMi Certin B.V.
